Zeemote Acquired By Aplix Corporation.  18.12.09

Tokyo, Japan & Chelmsford, USA – December 17th, 2009, Aplix Corporation (TSE: 3727), a leader in deploying Java technology on mobile and consumer electronic devices which enrich the end user-experience, today announced that it has acquired the assets of Zeemote Technology Inc., in an all cash transaction. 

Zeemote, an award-winning manufacturer of wireless controller technology and products for mobile devices, will operate as a separate subsidiary of Aplix Corporation and will remain at its Burlington, Massachusetts base. Aplix has retained the services of a number of key Zeemote staff including: Arron Fang and Rob Podoloff who will continue with their roles as CEO and CTO respectively.
